Pashmina Scarves from Afghanistan

June 21st, 2010

I have been working as a contractor in Afghanistan since December 2009. I first heard about the amazing pashmina scarves you can get in Afghanistan when I was getting ready to deploy from Fort Benning. A guy who had spent the last five years working in Afghanistan said that I should look for and buy pashmina scarves and send them to my wife, mom, sister, etc because they were so nice. The pashmina scarves come in so many colors and are really soft. They are made from a blend of cashmere wool and just feel like butter.

My wife really likes the green pashminas. And I

got my mom and really nice peach pashmina. But my wife and I like the pashminas so much that we are working to set up a business to import and sell pashminas in the U.S. We are working to get the best, softest, pashminas at the best price for you. Please contact us if you would like any particular colors of pashminas:green pashminas, red pashminas, silver pashminas, white pashminas (great to pair with a wedding dress–stunning), pink pashminas (great for bridal party gifts-everyone will love), peach pashminas, cashmere and silk blend pashminas, and 100% silk shawls from Afghanistan.

Look for us at Pish Posh Pashmina. That will be our online pashmina store, but we will also set up a kiosk or two around the Holiday season. Visit the website to find out more information about pashmina scarves and their availability. Here is one of the Afghan rug shops that also sells pashmina and silk scarves.
